The founders of Lake Champlain prides themselves in being a very progressive company. Their chocolates support people, profits and the planet. The drive and passion to not only want to be the best in the world, but to also be the best for the world is a powerful mission that should be recognized by the chocolate-loving public.

Project:
Lake Champlain Chocolates Redesign

Semester:

Objective:
Lake Champlain chocolates is one of 2,500 companies that is B Certified. This is a great selling point for their locally made chocolates. Currently their packaging shows brightly colored illustration, but it feels out of date. The company is far from traditional, so these new designs modernize them while conveying the care and effort they put into their
chocolates, customers and employees.

Solution:
These chocolates were to look new and exciting, so creating a more modern illustration for the different flavors was key in achieving that goal. The color was carefully chosen to allow overprinting and the illustrations were abstractions of the flavor types. This created a more eye catching design that stood out in a sea of chocolate bars.
